Ratcliffe College is celebrating an extraordinary year of academic success and structural change ahead of its next school open morning.
A spectacular new £4.5 million preparatory school building was opened last September by the Duke of Gloucester, that includes purpose-built classrooms for music, art and design, food technology and science. It also has an ICT suite and library, which won a prestigious Charnwood Architectural Design of the Year Award.
In March, the school was visited by a team of inspectors from the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate (ISI). For the first time in Ratcliffe College’s history, it was rated as excellent across all nine categories.
The school also enrolled the largest intake of students it has ever had. There are waiting lists in most year groups, so early registration is strongly advised.
Ratcliffe College is an independent school for girls and boys aged three to 18, situated just north of Leicester on the A46. The school currently has over 800 pupils, of whom over 100 are boarders.
Its next school open morning is on Saturday, October 10, from 9.30am-noon to which everyone is welcome.
