A pre-school has been hailed as outstanding after an Ofsted inspection.
Gaddesby School Community Preschool, which operates from the village hall, was graded outstanding in all aspects.
Inspector Tracey Hobbs commented: “Staff have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and welfare requirements. This ensures that children remain safe an secure while in their care.”
She added: “Partnerships between the pre-school staff, parents and other professionals are outstanding. This ensures children’s needs are quickly identified and exceptionally well met. There is a strong focus on shared learning and individual learning needs, ensuring children are extremely well prepared for their next stage in their learning.”
Pre-school manager Linda Dunmore said: “The result reflects the wonderful partnership we have with families and parents and we are pleased with the safeguarding aspect of the report as they are both important.”
