Children at Redmile C of E Primary School have put down their textbooks and swapped maths and English for the challenge of knitting.
Youngsters have been learning how to make woolly hats for the Innocent Bottle campaign run by the charity Age UK.
Proud headteacher Julie Hopkins said: “Teaching a whole group of youngsters to knit was a bit of a challenge but everyone was determined because the children really wanted to help raise money for Age UK.
“All the designs were colourful and full of decorative elements to make them special. I’m looking forward to seeing them in the shops soon.”
