Pupils at Stathern Primary School were treated to a French breakfast to put into practise some of their French language skills they have learnt this term.
The children were asked a number of different questions in French before selecting from the breakfast menu. They also took part in solving puzzles and crosswords.
Headteacher Troy Jenkinson said: “Pupils were invited into school in nonuniform - as French schools don’t wear uniform - and were treated to a special French breakfast.
“The morning was organised by our newest member of teaching staff, French national, Mrs Marksman, who joined our team to work with children in Class 1 in September.
“We are very grateful to her as she has had a huge impact on the delivery of our French curriculum and language tuition.
“The children had a fantastic morning and all of them thoroughly enjoyed using the skills and language they have been taught.”
The school also held its annual Sports Day this month and has set up a new group called the ‘Sports Crew’ which is a number of pupils being given the extra responsibility of organising sporting activities for the rest of the school.
