Big-hearted pupils at Belvoir High School have done their bit to help people who are less fortunate over Christmas.
Year 11 organised a ‘can drive’ asking students to donate non-perishable items of canned food.
Over 600 items were collected and will be given to Grantham Foodbank.
The school has also supported the Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Shoebox appeal.
A Belvoir High School spokesman said: “It was a great day and a fantastic end to the term.”
To mark the end of 2014 other activities were held which included a disco for younger students, a concert and a drama production.
