Rachel Burrows (28), of Dwyers Close, and her brother-in-law, Kieron Graham, from Leicester, will be doing their tandem skydives on April 26 in Brackley, Northamptonshire.
They’re taking the plunge to raise funds for the charity When You Wish Upon a Star.
Rachel said: “We chose this charity as it is a wonderful cause which grants wishes for children with life-limiting illnesses, as it once did for my little sister, Megan, when they took her to Lapland to meet Santa.”
“We’re both a bit of an adrenaline junkie. This skydive was originally planned for just a bit of fun and something to tick off our bucket lists.
“It’s something we’ve always wanted to do but we thought why not raise some money for a great cause, helping to put a smile on a child’s face, and for a great experience that is different to their usual routine of hospital visits/admissions and treatments.
“We hope people find it in their hearts to give as little or as much as they can, every single penny raised helps.”
