A daredevil Asfordby mum and her brother-in-law ended up jumping from a plane at 13,000ft instead of a planned 7,000ft drop in aid of a charity which grants the wishes of children living with life-limiting illnesses.
Rachel Burrows (28), of Dwyers Close, and Kieron Graham, of Leicester, completed their recent jump at Hinton Skydiving Centre in Brackley, Northamptonshire.
Rachel said: “It was a great success and such an amazing day. It was incredible and the weather was amazing. I’m delighted to say that together we raised £383 for the charity When You Wish Upon a Star.
“We chose this charity as it’s a wonderful cause which grants the wishes of children with life-limiting illnesses, as it once did for my little sister, Megan, when they took her to Lapland to meet Santa.”
