Police sound appeal over missing girl with connections to Melton

A 14-year-old girl with connections to Melton has gone missing, police said this afternoon (Monday).

Kristina Ginova was last seen shortly before 9pm on Saturday at an address in Knipton, in the Vale of Belvoir.

Since then she has not been seen and officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries to try and find her.

Leicestershire Police are now appealing for the public’s help in finding Kristina.

A spokesperson said: “She is described as slim, 5ft 5ins tall, with long straight brown hair and a tanned complexion.

“She was last seen wearing khaki-coloured joggers, a white, grey and pink jumper and black slider shoes.

“She was also carrying a black bag.

“Kristina has connections to the Melton Mowbray area and it is believed this may be where she currently is.”

Anyone who has seen Kristina or knows of her whereabouts, is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 567 of October 6.
