NEWSFLASH: Police arrest 31-year-old man after allegation of sexual assault at Melton hotel
Police have arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with an allegation of sexual assault against a woman in Melton.
It is believed the incident took place at the Premier Inn hotel on Norman Way.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: “Police were called this morning (Friday) following a report of an allegation of sexual assault against a woman.

Hide Ad“The incident is alleged to have happened at a premises in Norman way, Melton.
“A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in police custody.
“Early enquiries continue into the incident.”
Police cars and an ambulance were seen outside the hotel on Friday morning.
When approached by the Melton Times, a staff member said she unable to comment on the incident.
