Melton man, 35, is fined for assaulting police officer

Wayne Holt (35), of Princess Drive, Melton, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty in Melton on December 17 and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour. Holt was fined £300, ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Stuart Carnall (29), of Asfordby Road, Melton, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour towards a person in Melton on December 17. He was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge.

Marcus Dack (25), of Brook Crescent, Asfordby Valley, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour in Flint Drive, Asfordby, on December 28. He was fined £165, ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Patrick McTiernan (49), of Middle Street, Croxton Kerrial, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol on the A607 on December 8. He was found to have 64 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg. McTiernan was banned from driving for 18 months which may be reduced by 18 weeks if he completes a course. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

Vicki Harris (52), of Hall Lane, Eastwell, pleaded guilty to stealing two horse-related items belonging to a woman in Sproxton between January 1, 2014 and September 2, 2015. Harris was made subject of a 12-month community order including a requirement to do 150 hours of unpaid work. She was also ordered to pay £300 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £100 costs.

James Bartsch (30), of North Brook Close, Greetham, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol on Pickwell Lane, Whissendine, on October 23. He was found to have 124 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80mg. Bartsch was banned from driving for 15 months which may be reduced by 15 weeks if he completes a course. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Morgan Irving (23), of Holford Way, Wandsworth, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol on Brockington Road, Melton, on January 1. She was found to have 68 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg. Irving was banned from driving for 18 months which may be reduced by 18 weeks if she completes a course. She was also fined £375, ordered to pay a £38 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
