Community groups and volunteers in Bottesford and East Goscote are being encouraged to register their interest in running their local libraries.

Earlier this year Leicestershire County Council agreed a series of measures to save £800,000 from its current £5.6million libraries budget, as part of the authority’s overall £120m savings.

Groups are being encouraged to manage a total of 36 county libraries, with support provided by County Hall.
