This is an event which welcomes the whole community with many local clubs organisations, and businesses being represented.

Children from Swallowdale Primary School, Harby Primary School and, St Francis Primary School will be performing a selection of carols and seasonal music in the beautiful candlelit church. The congregation will also enjoy music from the church choir.

The service will be led by the Reverend Kevin Ashby with support from the church’s musical director, Mr James Gutteridge.

Melton Mayor, councillor David Wright, said: “This event in the wonderful setting of a candlelight St Mary’s Church promises to be one of the highlights of my mayoral year. The enthusiasm of everyone taking part makes this such a delightful evening.”
