Celebrating 30 years of Little Dalby cream teas

Have your say

Two consecutive Sunday afternoons in August marked the 30th anniversary of creamed teas being served at Little Dalby.

Villagers held the teas at Woodmans Cottage in order to raise funds to keep the Church of St James open and in good repair.

The afternoons which were attended by over 400 people couldn’t have taken place without the support of volunteers who provided puddings and cakes.

Originally the teas were held at Hall Farm and Benkins Lodge before being stationed at Woodmans Cottage.
