Scalford Hall Hotel’s new general manager Daniel Gough says he’s looking forward to the responsibilities and challenges of driving the team forward.
His appointment is an integral part of a new management team who are working towards a number of upgrades and services within the 77-bedroom hotel, including the recent addition of the Pavilion events venue and the goal of Rosette Status for the restaurant.
This is Mr Gough’s first role as general manager, following various deputy general manager roles at a number of leading national hotels, and he has a wealth of experience in all areas of the business.
Mr Gough has also enjoyed time with The Belfry, Marriott Hotels, De Vere Hotels, IHG and Jury’s as well as being employed for over 10 years with the Hilton Hotels.
He said: “I’m thrilled to be a part of the team, particularly with this being my first general manager role. It was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. I love the location and country house style of the hotel, with so much scope for expansion. It’s a very exciting time to join and I’m looking forward to the responsibility and challenges of driving the team forward.”
