The Mayor of Melton John Wyatt cut the ribbon at the official opening of Scalford Hall Hotel’s pavilion on Wednesday. The new state-of-the-art pavilion will offer an attractive option for the local community as a fundraising and social venue and widen employment opportunities.
The event was attended by business representatives and friends and guests of the hall.
Scalford Hall Hotel director Colin Warburg, said: “We have a solid reputation as a premier year-round events facility and are delighted to now be able to cater for much larger functions in excess of 400 both in the private and corporate sector going forward.”
The pavilion cost around £200,000 and has facilities including a kitchen, stage and dance floor.
