Melton’s Lloyds Bank branch closes to customers while refurbishment works are carried out

Lloyds Bank on Sherrard Street, Melton, has closed to customers while it undergoes a refurbishment, with the new look branch due to re-open to customers at 9.30am on July 1.

A Lloyds spokesman said: “During the closure period the outside cashpoint will be available for withdrawals. Alternatively there are Lloyds branches in Oakham, Leicester, Loughborough and Grantham. Customers can also use the telephone banking service (0345 3000000) or Internet banking at

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to welcoming customers to the new look branch very soon.”

Bank manager Michael Clulow said: “The branch will have a modern look and feel for customers, with screen-less counters, a self service zone and new welcome desks.”
