Homes and businesses in Frisby-on-the Wreake and Eastwell are among those expected to benefit after a £9.2 million contract to expand high speed broadband to more rural communities across Leicestershire was signed on Friday.
The partnership between Leicestershire County Council and BT will see more than 10,000 extra homes and businesses get access to fibre broadband technology.
An interactive map is now available showing the full expected coverage across the county. The first properties to benefit from this latest phase are due to go live towards the end of 2016.
