Bugtopia, at the reservoir’s Skyes Lane entrance, will welcome visitors from 10am on Saturday.

Owners Joe Mordawska and Natalie Matts hope to educate youngsters and adults alike about the value of conservation.

Joe said: “We’re trying to teach kids and adults about conservation, ecology and biodiversity so they understand what’s going on in the world.”

People will be able to get up close and hands on with the animals in hourly sessions.

Admission is £7. Bugtopia will open 10am to 5pm, seven days a week except Christmas Day.
