Bottesford to host EU debate

A debate on whether Britain should stay in or leave the European Union (EU) will be held in Bottesford on Tuesday.

The event, which is free for people to attend, will be in Bottesford Village Hall at 7pm.

Speaking in support of leaving the EU will be Conservative East Midlands MEP Emma McClarkin.

Speaking in support of staying in the EU will be Dr James Moore, a University of Leicester lecturer who was the Labour candidate for the Rutland and Melton seat in last year’s General Election.
