A Long Clawson nursery has celebrated its 25th birthday with a party for children and staff on Saturday.
Brunts Farmhouse Day Nursery held a teddy bears picnic with activities including a mini disco, soft play area games and a balloon launch.
There was cause for a double celebration as the nursery also received a glowing report from Ofsted.
Ofsted said the quality of teaching is consistently very good and some is outstanding.
The report also praised staff for demonstrating a very good understanding of how to protect and safeguard children should they have any concerns about a child’s welfare.
Nursery proprietor Belinda Bailey-Cowen said: “I’d like to thank parents and their children, past and present, for supporting us and making Brunts the thriving success it is today.
“Our staff also deserve sincere thanks as they work tirelessly and consistently to make sure the children receive the very best care.”
Brunts was originally opened in 1990, by Mr and Mrs Bailey.
It now has 43 children registered on its books and 10 staff members who supervise youngsters all year round.
