The 16th annual event, on Friday and Saturday, September 21 and 22, will be held at the usual venue of Melton Mowbray Market.

New this year will be a gin bar serving 20 or so different concoctions.

Tim Webster, market manager, said: “There will be a focus on the county of Yorkshire, 30 or so ales will have roots to here.

“Entertainment will be provided by The Atlantics on Friday evening with The Hound Dogs headlining on Saturday night. Other bands will play as well.

“Food will be on offer too, there will be Asian and German sausage to have.”

Volunteers from Melton Round Table will be running the bar and are the charity the festival is collecting for.

Admission is from 11am both days. It will cost £1 before 6pm (CAMRA members free) and £5 thereafter.
