Egg-cited youngsters across the Melton borough took part in range of fun activities over the Easter holiday period.
The sun shone and there was plenty of family fun as Scalford-based Old Brickyard Tea Garden hosted a special Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on Easter Monday.
Children had their faces painted and dressed up in fancy dress, with striking costumes such as the Mad Hatter and the white Easter bunny.
They were able to escape to a secret enchanted garden which included sock trees, Easter eggs, and a cake cottage.
Staff from a local willow weaving centre brought along animal sculptures for visitors to enjoy craft demonstrations and there were also competitions involving drawing and games.
As befitting a tea party, there were also hot brews and Easter-themed cakes to enjoy.
Other activities taking place around the town an borough included an Easter scavenger hunt at Melton Country Park on Tuesday, Easter egg hunt in Wilton Park on Thursday and Easter-themed activities for Little Stars Pre-school children.
A spring fete, including Easter egg hunts, a four-a-side football tournament, bouncy castle plus lots more activities, were held in Melton Country Park on Friday.
