Knitters and crocheters from across Melton have spent the last year producing bedding and clothing for orphans and vulnerable children in South Africa.
The Knit A Square campaign has produced a remarkable 44 blankets, 100 hats, 12 scarves and 50 pairs of hand warmers since August last year.
Some members of contributors work over a hot drink at More Coffee Co in Market Places and others work from home.
Organiser Rebecca Price said: “We have drawn in knitters and crocheters from all over Melton.
“We have men as well as women and old as well as young.
“Our oldest knitter is a lady who is 98.
“Some are unable to get out to the cafe and so knit at home and send the items in to us.
“Some are just passing through Melton - in fact, one lady who was on her way back from a holiday was so impressed she made us some squares when she got back to her home and posted them to me.”
Members of the group took part in a special event to produce items for the youngsters for Christmas.
They needed to work ahead of the festive season to ensure it reaches them via the post.
