Pupils give a royal performance

YOUNG knights and ladies at Hose Primary pulled out all the stops with their annual production for parents and friends of the school.

Their version of the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table combined acting, dancing and singing.

Headteacher Maragaret Cox said: “It was a resounding success and was incredibly well received at two public performances.

“The show was packed with catchy tunes and there were some terrific comedy performances, too – it was a real community event.

“The whole school took part and the children were involved in almost every aspect of the show, painting the set, making the props and working back stage.

“Wonderful productions don’t just happen overnight, you need a real team effort, but special mention must go to our director Annya Rawstron and wardrobe mistress Anne Wheatley and her team who knitted the suits of armour!”
