Your chance to see rare breeds up close
The two-day National Native and Traditional Breeds Show and Sale will be at the town’s livestock market.
It will be the 16th edition of the show.
It is a unique event in that it is a co-operative venture run by the participating breed societies who each provide their own stewards, inspectors and judges.

Among the breeds entered this year are Belted Galloway cattle, Bagot goats and Norfolk Horn sheep.
A spokesperson said: “The event has been a fabulous success, with close to 1,000 sheep each year, from 24 different UK traditional and native breeds.
“We also see a good selection of cattle and pigs, and there is a fantastic poultry and waterfowl sale.”
