UPDATE: Rat found in Melton's Domino's Pizza shop is '˜humanely dispatched'

Staff from Melton Council's environmental health team have inspected Melton's Domino's Pizza shop where a rat was found in its customer waiting area this morning (Thursday, May 26).

A council spokeswoman said: “A pest control company were on site and the rat was humanely dispatched.

“Works are to be carried out to thoroughly clean the premises and to prevent further entry. All open food was disposed of. They will not re-open until an environmental health officer has assessed that the risk to health has been removed.”
