MELTON family business Hallmark Consumer Services Limited has been judged the region’s fastest growing family business.

The company, which specialises in innovative direct mail solutions and was founded in 1992 by MD Chris Hall, was awarded the title at the Midlands Family Business Awards 2012.

The award, sponsored by Barclays, recognises family businesses across all industry sectors that have achieved sustained growth in recent years, despite the difficult economic climate.

The category was judged by an independent panel led by the MD of 99p stores, Hussein Lalani, which picked up the fastest growing award in the 2011 awards.

All winners across the 10 categories in The Midlands Family Business Awards, now in its third year, were announced at a prestigious dinner and ceremony at Leicester’s Curve last Thursday.

Annabel Prow of the Wilson Organisation in Nottingham said: “By responding quickly and innovatively to client demands and investing heavily in its systems, Hallmark, steered by MD Chris Hall, has seen exceptional growth over the past two years to become a multi-million pound turnover business with an enviable list of long-term clients, including public and private sector organisations and blue chip businesses.”
