Watch out for the lions
THREE giant hand-crocheted lions in a 16 metre mobile glass case will pass through Melton this morning.
The Lionheart East Midlands arts project, created by Leicester artist Shauna Richardson, is one of the major projects of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The lions will travel through Melton at about 11am on their way to Leicester where they will stay for two weeks before travelling to the National History Museum in London.
