An exciting Easter musical which features a local cast is set to be performed at Melton's St Mary's Church.

‘Beelzebub And His Spectacular Travelling Show’ has been written by Michael Fox and Neal Swettenham and has several Brooksby Melton College performing arts graduates taking part.
The plot, is of a lone traveller who is on her way to Jerusalem in search of a mysterious stranger, and there are 13 original songs composed by musical director Neal Swettenham.
The show is directed by Eluned Owen, who taught drama and voice at Brooksby Melton College from 1984–2015 and it is choreographed by Brenda Smith, who founded the dance programmes at the college.
There will be three performances in March (21-23).

Tickets for the shows which start at 7.30-9.30pm are now available online at http://www.meltonvineyard.org.uk/bzb.html
They can also be purchased from the Fair Trading Post, E-Clips Hairdressing and The Cove, Sysonby Street.
Profits from ticket sales will be divided between the Melton Mowbray Child Contact Centre and Storehouse.
