School '˜Mayfest' kids event for St Francis Primary School

A selection of fun activities and attractions for children have been organised on St Francis Primary School's playing field on Friday.

‘Mayfest’ has been arranged by the PTA group from 3-5pm and is open for all to visit.

The event will include go karts, bouncy slides, a Hawaiian obstacle course, a visit from the local fire brigade with their engine on display, a visit from the police, tombola, chocolate raffle, refreshments and archery.

In the style of Willy Wonka there will also be the opportunity to win a golden ticket for the event. This will allow the lucky winner a free on every stall, ride and activity.

For your child’s chance to win, send an envelope into the office with £1 inside, clearly labelled ‘Golden Ticket’ with your child’s name and class. This will be drawn by Mrs Anderson the morning before the event in assembly.

All funds from the event will go back into the school for the benefit of all children. St Francis PTA help provide and pay for new play equipment and organise school trips.

If you’re available to volunteer to help with the running of a stall or activity email [email protected] or let PTA members know.
