New season for Melton classic and custom car shows

The shows, which were launched last year by Melton car enthusiast Ryan Gibson, take place at Play Close park from 4pm until dusk on the second Friday of the month until September. The popular events, which owners and their classic and custom cars from a wide area, will include catering and refreshment facilities, including a bar. Entry is £2 for cars and free for bikes. Chris said: “Last year we had upwards of 200 cars and 50 bikes, a number we are looking to increase. Our ethos is to accept motoring enthusiasts from all reaches of the community.”

Non-show cars can be left in the Parkside car park which is free after 6pm.
