Old Dalby church to host Women's World Day of Prayer service
A special church service is being held at St John the Baptist Church, Old Dalby, to celebrate Women's World Day of Prayer.
The service, which takes place on Friday (March 3) from 2pm, has been prepared by Christian Women of the Philippines and is entitled “Am I Being Unfair to You.”
Leading the service will Judith Neale, a talk will be given by Deacon Dawn Canham and other local women will participate by doing readings.
Although the service is organised and led by women, the event welcomes everybody who wishes to demonstrate solidarity with those in other countries.
Refreshments will be served after the service.
