Music pupils from around Melton and the borough will be playing in an exciting summer strings project.
Sixty children aged from seven to 18 and from schools in Bottesford, Redmile, Harby, Hose, Long Clawson, St Francis’ in Melton Mowbray, Belvoir High School in Bottesford, John Ferneley College, Nottingham High School, both Grantham grammar schools and Toot Hill in Bingham will meet for an afternoon of music rehearsals and workshops.
It will culminate in a massed performance for parents and friends on Monday at Hose Village Hall.
Called Violins in the Vale, the event is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and the youngsters are pupils of Harby based violin and cello teacher Zosia Cocker.
