Revellers at this year’s Glastonbudget will celebrate the 10th anniversary of what has been dubbed ‘the world’s greatest tribute act festival’.

Music fans will once again converge on the three-day event at Turnpost Farm in Wymeswold, which this year runs from May 22 to 24.

Local groups will rub shoulders with top tributes, such as Four Fighters, Oashish and Fleetwood Bac.

A spokesperson said: “This year there will be over 30 award-winning tribute acts and 100 independent artists performing on one of the seven stages.

“We are choosing to celebrate our 10th anniversary in style, with a surprise performer taking to the main stage.

“Since 2006, we’ve invited a special guest to perform, with previous acts including Chesney Hawkes, Chas and Dave and Neville Staples.”

Some of the proceeds from the event will again go to the Leicestershire and Rutland Organisation for the Relief of Suffering (LOROS) charity.

Tickets are now on sale and are available by logging on at www.glastonbudget.org - fans canbuy day tickets, camping tickets or VIP hospitality packages.
