Beatles and Elvis Presley tributes sing for Pablo’s Horse Sanctuary

Top tribute acts will be bashing out pop classics tomorrow to raise money for a well-loved animal charity.

The Upbeatles will revive the hits of the Fab Four at the Royal British Legion, in Melton, supported by well-known Elvis Presley impersonator Chris Scott.

The event, which runs from 8pm to 11.30pm is a fundraiser for Pablo’s Horse Sanctuary.

* There will be a touch of glamour on Tuesday at a charity fashion show held in aid of Melton Mowbray Mencap.

The fashion show and clothes sale takes place at the charity’s Chapel Street centre and promises major high street brands and designer labels at rock bottom prices.

Admission costs £5, or £3 for Mencap members.

* Five-time national gold medal-winning singers Grand Central Chorus perform at Sage Cross Methodist Church and Community Centre on Saturday, March 7.
