OMG! Open Mic Goodness returns to the Noels on Thursday. New performers are welcome aged 14+.

Friday sees Velocity the female fronted power four piece playing all the favourites from Sabbath’s Paranoid to Nena’s 99 Red Ballons at the Genny B.

There is also a performance from Plug at The Noels Arms on Friday. They will be playing 60s and 70s pop, punk, indie, rock and new wave from The Beatles to Buzzcocks.

Ray Hatfield is at The Black Swan on Friday. Ray first picked up a guitar at age 11 and has been an addict ever since. 2009 marked the release of the critically acclaimed solo album “King of the West” featuring 11 self penned tunes with influences from Eagles to Gary Moore and beyond.

On Saturday, The Wayfarers play songs by Nirvana, Buzzcocks, The Smiths, The Doors, The Who and Oasis at The Grapes.

The Nile Delta Buskers are in town at the Noels on Saturday with an electric mix of road-travelled musicians, each of them bring their own diverse influences and musicianship to the table.

There is also hits from The Dark Horses on Saturday at The White Hart. The band kickstart their set with rock songs from the 70s, 60s and 90s.

The Detourz still featuring bass player Jon Randle from 80s Doctor and the Medics, best known for their number 1 hit ‘Spirit in the Sky,’ play some of the liveliest covers of funk, soul, ska and rock at the Genny B on Saturday.

Govannen return to The Boat on Sunday minus Chris Conway, but with Roger Wilson on fiddle givinga more traditional session feel with two fiddles, guitar and percussion. Expect loads of tunes and sing-a-longs as well as tracks from the bands new album.

On Sunday, Más Y Más, the acoustic trio are playing at the Noels. Performing original songs of, Rikki Thomas-Martínez, their lead singer and guitarist and a small repertoire of traditional Latin songs that they enjoy playing.
