Creative displays of knitted Bible stories will be available to view at Long Clawson Methodist Church next Saturday, May 14.

The Ladies of Sage Cross Methodist Church and the Melton Methodist Circuit have knitted Bible characters to form 30 scenes from the Old and New Testament.

The idea is to offer the characters as a learning resource to teach youngsters about religion, and bring biblical stories to life.

The knitted scenes will be on display at 2-5pm and refreshments including tea, coffee and cakes will be served. The exhibition is free to all but donations are requested to help the circuit project which is supporting the children’s hostel in Karur, South India.
