About 600 people attended the 17th annual Long Clawson Food Fayre which was held on Saturday in the village hall.

The successful event raised about £2,500 which will be split between St Remigius Church and Long Clawson Village Hall.

One of the organiser Patrick Gray said: “Everyone had lots of fun and we had celebrity chef Rachel Green attend and open the event.

“We had plenty of volunteers from across the Vale of Belvoir help out which showed great community spirit. In total there were 25 stalls selling a wide range of local produce.”
