Plenty of family entertainment will be on offer when Turn Post Farm, in Wymeswold, hosts the annual Great Rempstone Steam and Country Show this weekend.
The event which is in its 59th year is one of the biggest such shows in the region.
Among the attractions in the main arena will be pony racing, re-enactments of historic battles, steam engine games and aerobatic displays.
Visitors can browse the food fair, enjoy a snake and reptile exhibition, watch beekeeping demonstrations and there will be the ever-popular site of around 40 traction engines in full steam around the showground.
Show organiser Colin Fox said: “The show has grown to be one of the largest of its kind in the East Midlands. It’s great when we see so many people enjoying themselves and raising lots of money for local and national charities.”
Admission is £7 adults and £4 children. Parking is free.
