Four Melton acts in Vale’s Got Talent final

Dancers, guitarists and singers are getting ready for an X Factor style talent show battle.

Four talented performers from Melton in all sorts of arts are preparing for the 6th Vale’s Got Talent final, which takes place on Saturday.

The acts have made it through auditions and the tough semi-finals to vie for the title.

The final will be held at the Grange Hall, Radcliffe-on-Trent on Saturday at 7pm and is expected to be a sell-out so booking your tickets early is advised by calling (0115) 933 4004.

Among the Melton and Vale acts reaching the final are, Neon Glee and Fly Dance from Brooksby Melton College , singer David Newton of Asfordby and performer Ellie Hughes from Stathern.

The talent search is run by the Rotary Club of the Vale of Belvoir to support its local, national and international charitable causes.

The winner of the competition will receive £400 and a coveted trophy. There will be a prize of £200 for the runner-up and £100 for the person or group who finishes third.
