Dementia awareness event coming to Stathern
People with dementia or those wanting to find out more about the condition are being invited to a free awareness event in Stathern on Wednesday.
Alzheimer’s Society and the Vale Medical Group are holding the event from 10am at Stathern Village Hall.
There will be a chance for members of the public to become Dementia Friends, which is a campaign which has seen nearly two million people commit to take action to help those with the illness.
From 1pm, there will be a pop-up Memory Cafe for people with dementia and carers.
