All acts regardless of theme or age are encouraged to take part. Auditions will be held on September 30 and October 1 at the Royal British Legion, Radcliffe-on-Trent.

Denis Bacon and Duncan Garment said: “If you can sing, dance, play an instrument, juggle, tell a good joke, walk a tightrope, do acrobatics, recite poetry or perform magic we want to hear from you.

“The Vale’s Got Talent show is great fun and you may surprise yourself as to how good you really are. Past performers have gone on to perform professionally. Who knows, maybe this will be your debut for a life in entertainment.”

There is a total prize pot of £700 to be shared amongst winners and a coveted trophy for first place.

Over the previous seven years just under £25,000 has been raised from the competition for the air ambulance, Vale First Responders, Dove Cottage Day Hospice and several village defibrillators.

To participate call Denis on 0115 9334004 or Duncan on 01949 861770 for an application form.
