A rising star in the comedy world is set to grace the Melton Theatre stage with a return visit in May.

Tom Stade, described as a free-thinking philosopher, comes back to the theatre on Wednesday, May 20 with his new tour Decisions, Decisions, when he promises to ponder timeless questions and reflect upon life’s choices and decisions.

He’s recently stormed BBC One’s Live at the Apollo and Michael Mcintyre’s Comedy Roadshow as well as Channel 4’s Comedy Gala, performing to his largest live audience yet at London’s O2 Arena.

The Canadian-born performer comes direct from sell-out performances at the Melbourne and Edinburgh Comedy Festivals, having steadily built a reputation as one of the most compelling and original stand-up acts around.

He debuted his new stand-up show at the Edinburgh Festival Assembly Ballroom last August, and is now taking it on a 52-date headline tour.

Stade has also starred in Lee Mack’s All Star Cast, Dave’s One Night Stand and Channel 4’s Boyle Variety Performance, and he was co-writer on Frankie Boyle’s Tramadol Nights.
