The Melton Frost Fair returns to Market Place on Thursday and Friday with attractions for all ages for the half-term break (10am-4pm both days).

Meet the Ice Queen and Jack Frost and party with dancing snowmen. Other frosty-themed entertainment includes traditional fair rides such as the helter-skelter ride and the carousel.

And don’t forget to look out for an appearance from the husky dogs.

For parents there will be a winter market which will include craft stalls, local refreshments and much more.

Andrew Cooper, chairman of Melton Town Estate, said: “The Frost Fair is an event we like to put on for people, especially children in the February half-term break, to help give them something to look forward to. We hope to see a good turnout across the two days and have extended the events into part of the day on Saturday.

“Hopefully the weather stays fine and visitors can enjoy an excitable few days.”
