Young snappers from the Melton borough, aged seven to 17, are invited to enter the Rotary Young Photographer of the Year competition.
Entrants are asked to submit three different pictures, giving their own interpretation on the theme ‘Light up the Community’.
The photos can be either colour or black and white, must be no larger than A4 size and be on photographic paper.
Each entrant should also explain - in no more than 50 words - what inspired their photographs.
The competition is organised locally by the Rotary Clubs of Melton Mowbray and Melton Mowbray Belvoir.
There are three age categories - junior (aged seven to 10), intermediate (11-13) and senior (14-17).
Entries will be assessed on technical merit, content and composition, imagination and style.
The closing date for entries is April 11.
