The Christmas panto season was in full swing last night at Melton Theatre as the first of nine live performances of Peter Pan had the audience captivated from the start.
Back by popular demand Trio Entertainment Ltd put on a rousing show with Louis Emerick (Last of the Summer Wine) leading the cast as the evil Captain Hook.
Alongside him was Hollyoaks star Beth Kingston as Wendy, Nicola McAllister as Peter Pan, Beth McMillan as Tinkerbelle, Britain’s Got Talent finalist Stephen Hall as Pirate Winkle and Stuart Earp played the hilarious Smee.
The swashbuckling adventure pantomime is action packed and full of comedy in abundance.
Peter Pan tells the story of Peter, the boy who never grew up who lives in a far away land, called Neverland. When Wendy is told that she must leave the nursery and start acting like a grown up, Peter swoops in and along with her brothers, Michael and John, Wendy is whisked off to an action packed adventure full of pirates and Indians.
