Celebrity and cricket all star Andrew Freddie Flintoff is to visit Melton Theatre on a leg of his warm up tour to perform his hilarious hit podcast ‘Balls Out’ with comedian Clyde Holcroft.
‘Balls Out’ will allow the audience to hear the behind-the-scenes truth of the infamous Ashes traffic-stopping bus tour to his Guinness world record-breaking marathons for Sport Relief.
It follows other recent preview shows at Melton Theatre performed by the likes of Lee Evans and Alan Carr.
Melton Theatre co-ordinator Michael Harris said: “We’re really pleased to bring the premiere of this show to Melton. Freddie is such a well known face in both sport and his media commitments, that we could not pass up the opportunity to have him join us.
“Clyde has a rich history of producing great comedy shows so we’re sure it will be another great night.
“The show will be at our increased capacity of 500 and this has allowed us to offer such great value for the customer to see the show.”
Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff, MBE, is a former English international cricket player who won the Ashes with England and captained the side from 2006. He is now heavily involved with charity and the media.
l Tickets for the show which comes to Melton on Saturday, May 2 cost £10 + booking fee and will go on sale via booking in person at the Box Office at 9am on Friday. Online sales will commence at 12 noon with telephone bookings taken once any Box Office enquiries have been completed.
