All set for golf club’s 2nd classic car and bike rally

Following the success of their June meet, Melton Mowbray Golf Club are hosting another classic car, bike and super car rally in aid of Alzheimer’s Society.

The event on Sunday, in the club car park, is free for exhibiting cars and bikes, whilst spectators cars will be parked for a small donation to charity.

The rally will start from 11am-3pm and food and drink will be available in the clubhouse.

Melton Mowbray Golf Club captain Brendan Boyce said: “This is the second time we’re putting on an event like this and we hope it will be well attended again.

“Last time we had up to 54 cars and bikes from Grantham, Stamford and Melton.”

The fundraiser in June raised over £350 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
