It's been the best panto yet, oh, yes it has.

Whissedine STARS (St Andrew’s Repertory Society) put on the pantomime Puss in Boots, which sold out all three performances on Friday and Saturday.

The amateur theatre group puts on a show annually with Puss in Boots featuring a flurry of jokes, and fun characters aimed at families.

Jill Fenby-Taylor of the STARS said: “There was a lot of laughter from the audience, especially when they realised that one of the Killer Rabbits was, in fact, the local vicar in a leather jacket but with flashing bunny ears and fluffy tail!

“The cast were all amazing, the three costume ladies deserve a mention as they had eighteen main cast members and nine children to dress.

“All in all it was a very enjoyable pantomime with members of the audience declaring it to be the best one yet!”
