Try a new sport and make friends at Holwell Sports Bowls Club open day

The event, at their home in Welby Road, Asfordby Hill, is open to all ages and runs 10am to 2pm both days.

Club members will be on hand to help newcomers to understand the game and how it is played. Bowls will be provided and trainers can be worn on the green.

Social evenings are held throughout the season and new members are encouraged to play in friendly midweek games and at weekends.

A range of competitions are played and as members progress, they can enter county and national competitions.

The club offers a free first year’s membership.
